The Financial Rebellion Way
Knowledge and action to help you achieve a life you desire.
“No one has ever become poor by giving.”
The Giving Account: Your Secret Weapon for Generosity
You might agree with this statement: “If life is all about what I want, that’s not a very satisfying life.” Real wealth isn’t hoarding cash—it’s having enough to share. The smartest rebels build generosity into their budget from day one.
Your generosity game plan:
Open a “Giving Account” today: Not when you’re “ready.” Today. Name it something that matters—“Help Fund” or “Blessing Budget.” Start with $10/month. That’s two coffees. By December, you’ve got $120 ready to be someone’s answered prayer.
Watch for opportunities: Coworker’s kid selling fundraiser chocolate? Buy five bars. Friend mentions they’re short on rent? Slip them $40. While everyone else posts “thinking of you,” you actually help.
The compound effect of giving: You’re rewiring your brain. A scarcity mindset says, “I barely have enough.” An abundance mindset says, “I have something to share.” Guess which person attracts more opportunities and builds more wealth?
Big picture: Traditional finance says wait until you’re rich to be generous. We say start now with what you have.

Real Money Moves
Reagan, 21 - Pleasant View, Utah
Each week, we feature a reader’s smartest and dumbest money moves. We’re all in this together; let’s learn from each other.
Best Money Move - Getting LASIK
“LASIK is definitely going to be a great money move for me because it’s expensive to have glasses, it’s expensive to have contacts.”
“It is sometimes very inconvenient.”
“I’m really excited about getting it—it’s an investment that will pay for itself.”
Worst Money Move - Buying her car
“I purchased a car last December and as much as I love it, it’s a big car payment.”
“It’s a lot of responsibility and as a college student, that’s hard to keep up on.”
“I know I’m not the only one, but I regret that big purchase.”
The bottom line: Every money move teaches you something — whether it builds your net worth or humbles your ego.
Got a story? Send it in. You might help someone dodge a mistake or make a smarter call.
Side Hustle Differently
Each week, we focus on money-making opportunities for a side hustle that could potentially become a full-time venture. No MLM schemes, no “passive income” lies, just real strategies for stacking cash outside your 9-5

Level Up Learning
What it is: Reagan started Level Up Learning at 16, building a K-6 tutoring program that now employs 2-4 tutors and serves 12-15 students at a time in Pleasant View, Utah.
Her tutoring profit blueprint:
The Facebook Mom Strategy: “You have to figure out what your audience is. Mine is not necessarily the students, right? They’re so young. So it’s the parents.” Reagan combs through North Ogden Moms and Pleasant View Moms Facebook groups because that’s where desperate parents scroll at 10 pm after report cards come home.
The Symbiotic Space Hack: Reagan partnered with Smarty Pants Preschool to use their space after hours. “If it weren’t for my connection with Smarty Pants Preschool, I wouldn’t have had that established location, which built a lot of credibility for me.”
The Quarter-End Gold Rush: “After every quarter, when test scores come out, you always see a little bit of a jump.” Reagan follows Weber School District’s curriculum exactly, so when kids bomb tests, parents panic-call her.
Big picture: While her peers were worried about prom dates, Reagan identified a post-COVID learning crisis and built a business around it. Her secret? “People are more willing to help us than we think. All you have to do is ask.”
